Our Story

A Friendship,
Steeped in Tradition

Traditional Chinese tea ceremony with clay teapot and cups

For over 4,000 years, tea has been central to Chinese tradition, shaped by stories, myths, and rituals that continue to inspire tea lovers around the world.

One well-known legend from the Tang dynasty tells of Bodhidharma, founder of Zen Buddhism, whose discarded eyelids took root and grew into the first tea bushes—symbolizing tea's power to awaken both body and mind.

This project is a collaboration between two passionate tea enthusiasts: myself and my colleague from China, who lives at the heart of tea culture. Together, we have carefully curated a collection of exceptional Chinese teas, personally selected over many years.

Our range includes teas from protected natural areas such as Tun Mu and Wu Yi Shan, old-tree teas grown above 1,000 meters, and traditionally processed green and white teas. We're delighted to guide you on your journey into the world of tea and invite you to walk with us on the way of tea.

At the Source

Our teas are sourced directly in China, close to where they are grown.

We work with small producers and trusted growers in historically significant regions, favoring high-mountain gardens and protected landscapes. Long-term relationships allow us to select teas with depth, clarity, and a strong sense of place.

Selected, Not Produced

We do not create tea. We select it.

Each tea is chosen through careful tasting, released in limited quantities, and left true to its nature. Nothing is blended or rushed. What reaches your cup is the result of time, tradition, and restraint.

Quality as Practice

Quality is not a promise, but a discipline.

All teas are personally selected, taste-tested, and stored under optimal conditions. If a tea does not meet our standards, it is not offered.

Each season, we re-taste every tea to ensure it remains pure and true to its origin.

Respect for Nature

Great tea begins with respect.

We favor environments where tea grows in balance with nature — old forests, biodiverse ecosystems, and regions protected by tradition rather than force. These conditions give tea its depth, energy, and quiet complexity.
